How to: Change a slide color scheme so that it differs from the master.
Solution:
Make color changes to only one slide.
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Slides'.
2) Move to the slide in need of changes.
3) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Slide Color Scheme...'. (The Color Scheme dialog box appears.)
4) Click 'Standard' tab.
5) Select the desired color scheme from the 'Color Schemes' group. (The selected color scheme is highlighted.)
6) (Optional) To modify scheme colors for the selected color scheme:
a) Click 'Custom' tab.
b) Select the color of the feature to change from the 'Scheme Colors' group. (The selected scheme color is highlighted.)
NOTE: Each color in the 'Scheme Colors' group is indicated with a line and a tag; for example, 'Background', 'Shadows', 'Fills', 'Title Text', etc.

c) Click 'Change Color...'. (The appropriate dialog box appears.)
d) Make the desired changes.
7) (Optional) Click 'Add As Standard Scheme', to save the color scheme along with the presentation.
8) Click the 'Apply'.
NOTE: Changes will not affect other slides or the masters unless the 'Apply To All' is chosen.
